Women in Leadership at trivago
In one of our recent mini-series on our Life at trivago channels, we featured a few fierce female leads at trivago who share the stories of how they got to where they are today, their advice for aspiring leads, and lessons they’ve learned along the way. Coming from a variety of different backgrounds and career paths, these women are setting an example for how to succeed in the tech industry. Thanks to every one of you for sharing your journey with us!
Meet Christina – Global Key Account Management Lead
Meet Cristina who leads our Global Key Account Management team! Cristina’s team is responsible for nurturing trivago’s relationship with our key advertisers, helping them reach their full potential on our platform. Since she started at trivago 10 years ago, she has learned a lot – especially that being honest about your own shortcomings doesn’t make you a weaker lead.
Meet Ria – Brand Media Buying Lead
“Your career is a long journey – it’s rather a marathon than a sprint, so take it at your own pace and be kind to yourself.”
Meet Ria, Regional Lead in Brand Media Buying. Ria is currently balancing life as a mom and leading the Brand Media Buying team who manages TV and online video campaigns across the Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East, CEE and African regions. Although she encourages women to try out new opportunities, her advice is to take it at your own pace and find the right balance that works for you. Watch as she shares more about her own journey and tips for any aspiring leads out there.
Meet Vesal – Networking Lead
Vesal’s team is responsible for the overall operational health of our network infrastructure. Over the past 7 years she’s grown a lot as trivago has grown – among other things she has learned that it’s ok to fail sometimes, as long as you keep trying 💪
Meet Sophia – Productivity & Recognition Lead
Sophia’s team is responsible for feedback, individual value contribution and reward at trivago. In her experience as lead she’s learned that there is no one ideal leadership style other than the one that is closest to what feels authentically”you”. That along with a good dose of self-awareness and open communication and you’re set up for success!
